In 2000, Cathedral Group PLC bought the The Coronet, a Grade II listed Art Deco former cinema in Eltham which was in desperate need of redevelopment. Phase 1A was the construction of 30 residential units and a Tesco Express and Phase 1B is for the construction of 23 residential units and four small retail units. Phase 1C is the refurbishment of the existing cinema In October 2008, following extensive consultation with English Heritage and local community groups, Greenwich Planning Board voted unanimously to grant consent. The first 3 phases have been completed.

In 2013 it was transformed into a mixed-use development with a series of modern apartments and a leisure centre. The important period features were fully restored, returning the envelope of the building to its former glory.
